Biography

Andrew M. Malzahn is a partner at Dady & Gardner, P.A., where he represents franchisees and dealers nationwide in all aspects of their relationships with franchisors and manufacturers, from reviewing and negotiating franchise agreements before clients enter into the contractual relationship, to, when necessary, representing franchisees and dealers in various disputes (such as deceptive and fraudulent franchise sales, state and federal franchise registration and disclosure violations, encroachment, non-compete violations, and unlawful terminations) in state and federal court and arbitration. Andrew also represents several franchisee associations, from organization and formation, through tackling and resolving issues and disputes on a system-wide basis.

Andrew is an editor for the American Bar Association's Franchise Law Journal, and in 2020, Super Lawyers named Andrew a "Rising Star" and the Franchise Times named Andrew a "Legal Eagle."

Andrew is driven to represent and fight for franchisees, dealers, and distributors, who frequently find themselves on the other side of the table from parties with much greater power and resources. Andrew's philosophy is to provide creative, efficient, and effective representation in order to meet his clients' business objectives.

Andrew will gladly speak to prospective franchisee and dealer clients at no initial charge to determine whether he and his colleagues can be of service.
