Privacy Policy

Thank you for visiting DadyGardner.com (the “Web Site”) and reviewing our Privacy Policy.  Your privacy is important to us, and our policy is simple: we will collect no personally identifiable information about you when you visit the Web Site unless you voluntarily consent to provide us with that information when you submit that information to us, in addition to clicking the “I agree” button.  This Privacy Policy does not describe information collection practices on other external sites, including those linked to or from the Web Site.  We are not responsible for the content of external sites.  You are advised to read the privacy policy of external sites before disclosing any personal data or information.

What Type of Information We Collect and Use:

DadyGardner.com will be what’s known as the “Controller” of the personal data you provide to us.  The personal data we collect includes your name, phone number, and email address.  The server on which the Web Site is located collects and saves only the default information customarily logged by web server software.  Such information may include the date and time of your visit, the originating IP address, and the pages and images requested.  Like most Web sites, DadyGardner.com also collects and logs information automatically and through the use of electronic web beaconing tools that may be transparent to you, such as your IP address, the name and location of your Internet Service Provider, the type and version of your browser, the length of time that you stay on DadyGardner.com, search queries, your click-stream data, the location that referred you to DadyGardner.com and the average number of pages viewed (collectively the “Personal Data”).

If you visit another web site prior to browsing DadyGardner.com, that web site might place information within a URL, such as search queries, which may be logged by us.  Your IP address is the identifier assigned to your particular computer when you access the Internet.  Depending on how you connect to the Internet, your IP address may always be the same, or it may change each time you access the Internet.  Note that logging your IP address does not provide us with personally identifiable information such as your name, e-mail address, home or work address.

How We Use the Information We Collect

We need to know your personal data in order to provide better customer service, enhance our website, serve relevant advertisements on third party websites, and detect potential misuse or fraud.  We will not collect any information or personal data from you that we do not need in order to provide and oversee those functions.

Cookies

A “cookie” is a small data text file that is placed in your browser and allows us to recognize you each time you visit the Web Site.  Cookies themselves do not contain any personal data, and we do not use cookies to collect personal data.  We use Google Adwords marketing cookies to serve relevant ads to our visitors while they are viewing a third party website.  You can opt-out of Google Adwords marketing cookies at any time by visiting the following: http://www.google.com/settings/ads.

How Long We Keep the Information We Collect

To ensure that your personal data is kept for no longer than necessary, we have put in place an archiving policy for each area in which personal data is processed and will review this process annually.  The archiving policy considers what data should/must be retained, for how long, and why.  You have the right to withdraw your consent to our processing of your personal data at any time.  If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, or you wish to restrict our processing of your personal data or data portability, you can contact us and we will investigate the matter.  If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are processing your personal data not in accordance with the law, you have the right to lodge a complaint against us to an independent public authority, called the supervisory authority, that is responsible for monitoring the application of the data protection law.

Who We Share the Information We Collect With

Our Service Providers

We may share your personal data with companies that perform services on our behalf.  For example, we may share your personal data with our Webhosting and IT vendors, FindLaw (www.findlaw.com) and All Covered (www.allcovered.com), in order to assist with the administration of the Web Site.  By clicking the “I agree” button, you consent to giving our Webhosting and IT vendors the right to process your personal data in order to deliver the functionality necessary to carry out the Web Site’s functions.

Business Transfers

Your personal data may be transferred to another entity (either an affiliated entity or an unrelated third party) in connection with a merger, reorganization, dissolution, or similar corporate event.  If such a transfer were ever to occur, the acquiring entity’s use of your personal data will still be subject to this Privacy Policy.

Government and Legal Disclosures

We may disclose the personal information and data we collect through the Web Site when we, in good faith, believe disclosure is appropriate to comply with the law (or a court order or subpoena); to prevent or investigate a possible crime, such as fraud or identity theft; to enforce our Terms and Conditions or other agreements that govern your use of this Web Site; or to protect the rights, property or safety of our company, our users, or others.

The Risks When You Use the Internet

To ensure that your personal data and information is stored securely, we have put in place commercially suitable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.  Nevertheless, while we do our best to protect your personal data and information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information that you transmit to us.  Other internet sites or services that may be accessible through our Web Site have separate data and privacy practices independent of us, and therefore, we disclaim any responsibility or liability for their policies or actions.  Please contact those vendors and others directly if you have any questions about their privacy policies.

Authorized Users

Our Web Site is designed and intended for those who have reached the legal age of majority.  By using our Web Site, you affirm that you are at least the legal age of majority.  We are not liable for damages that may result from a user’s misrepresentation of age.  No one under the age of legal majority is authorized to submit any information on our website.  Parents or legal guardians of children under the age of legal majority cannot agree to these terms on their behalf.

Changes and Updates to This Policy:

We update this Privacy Policy from time to time, so please review this Privacy Policy regularly.  If we materially alter our Privacy Policy, we will notify you of such changes by posting a notice on our website.  Your continued use of our website will be deemed your agreement that your information may be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy as then in effect.  If you do not agree with our Privacy Policy changes, then you must immediately stop using our website, and notify us in accordance with this Privacy Policy that you do not want your information used in accordance with the changes.  This Privacy Policy was last updated on January 20, 2021.
