Riley J. Horan

Riley Horan is an Associate Attorney at Dady & Gardner, P.A., where he represents franchisees, dealers and distributors throughout the United States. From reviewing franchise agreements to litigating disputes, Riley advocates for his clients in all facets of their relationships with franchisors, manufacturers, and suppliers. Riley employs his diverse legal experience and passion for advocacy to maximize results for "the little guy."

A native of Northern California, Riley's legal career began at San Francisco's premier personal injury law firm, where he worked on several high-profile cases, including the Berkeley balcony collapse that killed six Irish exchange students. After moving to the Twin Cities in 2014, Riley continued his work in personal injury at a law firm that primarily served St. Paul's Hmong community. From 2019 through 2020, Riley worked simultaneously as a legal fellow for a boutique corporate law firm in Downtown Minneapolis and as a law clerk for a business litigation attorney in South Minneapolis.

In 2016, Riley became the second youngest candidate to ever run for the Minnesota House of Representatives. He spent the following two years working as a public policy aide to a former Hennepin County Commissioner and, later, as a campaign staffer on a Minnesota gubernatorial campaign.

Riley joined Dady & Gardner, P.A. as a law clerk in 2020 and immediately began helping franchisees work through legal issues related to COVID-19. In 2021, Riley graduated in the top quarter of his law school class.

In his spare time, Riley enjoys watching sports, exploring local breweries, and weekend trips to his two favorite Minnesota towns: Red Wing and Duluth.
