Serena I. Chiquoine | Franchisee Lawyer
Like all attorneys at Dady & Gardner, Serena concentrates her efforts on representing and advocating for franchisees, dealers and distributors in their relationships with their franchisors, manufacturers and supplies.
Serena comes to Dady & Gardner having worked as a clerk and litigation associate for four years at another law firm in the Twin Cities. Before deciding to focus on franchising, Serena successfully represented a number of clients in a wide range of legal matters, including complex family law issues, shareholder and partnership disputes, employment discrimination and restrictive covenant defenses, as well as federal human trafficking allegations and RICO claims. This wealth of diverse experience helps Serena to be an excellent advocate for franchisees facing all sorts of issues in their business relations with their franchisors.
Serena graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School, magna cum laude, in 2014. While in law school, Serena received a number of scholarships and commendations, including making the Dean’s List each semester and winning the University of Minnesota Book Award in Evidence for the Spring of 2013.
After earning her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, in Sociology from the University of Minnesota, Serena coordinated genetics research for the Minnesota Center for Twin and Family Research and the Minnesota Twin Registry.
